Tessuto was commissioned to transform this derelict grade II listed Georgian town palace from abandoned offices into a townhouse suitable for modern family life. Acting project lead designer, we crafted a new layout for the property within the tight constraints imposed by the planners.
Intensive restoration of the original Georgian features, including ornate plasterwork, fireplaces, and stone cantilevered staircase was masterminded by Tessuto and carried out by expert craftsmen and artisans.
The 16,000 sq. ft. property spans seven floors and includes five principle reception rooms with three interconnecting ballrooms, a master bedroom “Queen” suite, study, two guest suites, five further bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, two family reception rooms, four kitchens, two roof terraces, staff facilities and a new 3,500 sq. ft. basement leisure suite.
