Susie is the founder and Creative Director of Tessuto Interiors, based in Parsons Green, South West London.
Together with her talented, multi-disciplinary team, she has been producing original design solutions for her commercial and private clients for 25 years.
Her design philosophy is simple. She believes that interior design should be client led and process driven. Each project is directly responsive to the client’s brief and backed by the advanced technical ability to execute each project to the highest standard.
Her clients, many of whom have worked with her for decades, trust and rely on her to be the safe pair of hands they need for their projects. Her clients come back to her time after time because she approaches each and every project with fresh eyes to produce authentic and innovative design solutions for their projects.
She is the current President of the British Institute of Interior Design and in that role she has worked to guide and expand public awareness of the interior design profession and to champion its importance in the modern built environment.
She regularly lectures on a range of design related subjects and serves on the judging panels for a number of prestigious design award schemes. She is called upon regularly by the national and trade press to provide expert comment on a range of interior design issues.
