Originally a small, dilapidated, 2 storey, mews cottage on the Grosvenor Estate in central London, Tessuto was commissioned to expand and reconfigure the space by adding a second-floor mansard above and a basement below, thereby doubling the size of the property. Only the front wall of the house was retained. The new reconfigured interiors were designed using a sophisticated, contemporary palette of natural materials. Bespoke joinery and furniture pieces were used throughout. The property was transformed from a dark poky cottage into a luxurious, light filled, three-bedroom, family home.
