Project value GBP 2.3m Project GIA 425sqm.
Tessuto were appointed in the dual role of architect and interior designer for this new build, double-fronted mews house in Belgravia. Externally, the property nestling seamlessly into the adjacent Victorian streetscape is a masterful example of invisible mending, while behind the façade, Tessuto created a spacious 5-bedroom family home.
A passenger lift connects 2 basement levels with the 3 upper floors, while a solid oak staircase with hand-wrought metal balustrading winds through the five floors and is key design feature of the property.
Tessuto were responsible for all space planning, kitchen, bathroom joinery and lighting design and for the co-ordination of the building management technology throughout the house. In addition, we were commissioned to furnish, style and photograph the property for the client’s marketing purposes.
